Directions from Burlington, VT to St. Johnsbury Academy
Turn left when you leave the exit of the Burlington Airport. At the first traffic light, turn right. Travel about two miles and take Route 89 South (Route 89 is just past the Holiday Inn).
Follow Route 89 South about 35 miles and take exit 8 for Montpelier/Route 2 East.
Travel on Route 2 East about 35 miles to St. Johnsbury. After you pass the Fairbanks Hotel on the right, you will travel up a hill. At the top of this hill, you will see the campus of St. Johnsbury Academy.
Continue straight to the top of the hill. You will be directly in front of Colby Hall (the tall white tower — the symbol of the Academy).
At the stop sign, turn right and follow signs for AP Summer Institute Parking.
Directions from BOSTON, MA to St. Johnsbury Academy
Leave Logan Airport through the Sumner Tunnel, which leads to the Southeast Expressway North to Route I-93 North.
Follow Route I-93 North through Massachusetts through New Hampshire until it connects with Interstate I-91 North (approximately 140 miles).
Continue on Route I-91 North and take the first exit (Exit 20) for St. Johnsbury. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right. Take the next left up the hill.
Follow this road, up the hill. Make a left turn at the top of the hill onto Brantview Drive, and follow signs for AP Summer Institute Parking.
Directions from HARTFORD, CT to St. Johnsbury Academy
From Hartford, travel Route I-91 North through CT, MA and into Vermont. St. Johnsbury Academy is 129 miles from the MA border. Take Exit 21 for St. Johnsbury.
At the end of the exit ramp, you will merge onto Route 2 East.
After you pass the Fairbanks Hotel on the right, you will travel up a hill. At the top of this hill, you will see the campus of St. Johnsbury Academy.
