Consultant Bio
Joe Mancino serves as the High School Co-Chair of the AP Physics 1 test development committee, the team that develops annual test. He has been teaching all levels of high school Physics in central Connecticut since 2005 and has taught graduate courses for pre-service science teachers with the University of Connecticut Neag School of Education. He has served as a reader, table leader, and writer for the AP Physics exams since 2014. Recently, he co-authored the updated student guide to accompany the Serway and Vuille text. Joe has worked with new Physics teachers around the globe as a consultant for the College Board. On Saturdays, he presents Physics review sessions throughout Massachusetts with Mass Insight. He has also served as a mentor teacher for several first- and second-year teachers as well as cooperating teacher for several student teachers.
