Rachel Williams-Giordano

With over 15 years of experience as a dedicated educator, Rachel Williams-Giordano is passionate about inspiring students and enriching their understanding of history. As the lead consultant for AP African American Studies and having successfully launched this vital program, she is committed to expanding educational opportunities and promoting diverse perspectives. As a co-author of the textbook “Freedom on My Mind”, Rachel has contributed to the development of comprehensive educational resources. She has also taught AP United States History and AP United States Government and Politics, showcasing her expertise in advanced placement courses and dedication to student achievement.

 

Recognized as a finalist for History Teacher of the Year, Rachel is known for her engaging teaching style and ability to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. She strives to ensure every student and adult learner feels valued and empowered to succeed.
